Boost Self-Esteem With Positive Affirmations

One very effective self-development exercise is to use positive affirmations to boost your self-esteem. Words and the effects they have on people are very powerful. They can bring you a tremendous amount of success by helping you to reach your goals. If your self-confidence is low, why not try a few of these positive affirmations for boosting self-esteem? There is absolutely nothing to lose and you stand to gain everything, right?

“I deserve to be successful and happy.”

We should begin with the part that says, “I deserve”. Most individuals tend to loathe themselves. They do not believe themselves to be deserving of the good things that can happen in their lives. A person might say that she does not deserve a promotion because she is not good at her job. A husband can say that he doesn’t deserve his wife because he is not good enough to have such a phenomenal woman. A young girl can say that she does not deserve to have ice cream because she has packed on a few pounds recently. Most people tend to feel as though they are not deserving of happiness and success. This is far from the truth! All people deserve to live lives that are good. Print this affirmation and post it one your wall so that you can see it and read it out loud each and everyday. Or you can write this affirmation in your daily journal. If you do this on a regular basis, you will be able to start living the life of success and happiness that you truly deserve!

“I am able to make decisions for myself.”

With this statement you can start taking control of your life. People will not be able to make you do things that you do not want to. People will not be able to make you think differently than you want to either. You will be in total control of your own existence. If you feel as though you have no power, write this statement down and start reflecting on what it means. with time, you will be able to reclaim your life and start making decisions for yourself.

“I am willing to experience change.”

There might not be many words in this particular affirmation, but it is certainly a very powerful one. Claiming your willingness to accept change will allow the universe to begin gifting you with wonderful and mind-blowing opportunities. When you state your willingness to accept change you will be able to experience major growth.   There are a lot of positive affirmations for increasing your confidence and self-esteem that can help you to progress beyond your personal limits. While there is not a set of rules for positive thinking, these three affirmations can help you begin. Just remember that you are deserving of a happy life, that you are able to make decisions for yourself and that you are willing to accept change when it comes your way.
