I'm going to be talking about two things, CMOS and Shilajit
0:02
CMOS and Shilajit are two very different things, but their reported benefits are kind of along the same lines
0:08
So after making a video where I tried out Shilajit, some people asked me my opinion as to which one is best for them to take
0:13
or if they should just take both as part of their daily routine. So in this video, I'm going to share with you my experience of both
0:18
and tell you which one I think is the more effective option if you are looking to introduce the one into your daily routine
0:23
So stay where you are. So I'm going to start with my personal experience
0:28
You may know already if you've watched some of my previous videos that I use CMOS regularly
0:32
I often talk about the positive effects I've had with it and continue to have with it
0:36
CMOS has really grown on me, no pun intended, and I first tried it during lockdown as a way of just trying out something new that would maybe help me out
0:43
I think at that time a lot of people, including myself, were looking at their health and diets and looking at ways to improve certain aspects
0:50
Now after exploring CMOS, I gave Shilajit a try, which is a totally different thing
0:53
It's a thick black or dark brown colored goo, which compared to CMOS has similar reported benefits such as improvements in concentration, energy levels, and some consider a testosterone booster too
1:04
I didn't check my testosterone levels before and after I took it, so I can't say if it did anything in that area
1:09
But overall, it was a positive experience. Now, after I made a video talking about my experience using Shilajit, a few people asked me, Stuart, if you had to go for just one CMOS or Shilajit, which one would you go for
1:20
So I had to have a think about it. Now, the thing is, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. and when used in the right way can be really effective
1:26
So I totally understand why someone would ask the question So to start off I going to briefly go through what each one actually is Also to help you out I put chapter markers in this video down below so you can go to whatever section you want to know about So what is sea moss Sea moss which is scientifically known
1:40
as chondrous crispus, is a type of seaweed or algae. What you'll find is that a lot of people
1:45
are saying that it contains 92 of the 102 minerals that are found in the human body
1:49
including zinc, iodine and magnesium and some vitamins too. And so the idea is that we've
1:55
taken it regularly, you're replenishing the body of what it naturally needs. Sea moss is taken for
2:00
a whole host of reasons. Some people cook with it, some people put it in their morning coffee
2:04
some even use it externally and put it on their hair and skin. It's a really versatile thing
2:09
Now when we look at shilají in comparison, to briefly explain what shilají actually is
2:14
if you have no idea, it's a rich, dark or black substance primarily found in the Himalayas in Asia
2:19
This stuff is formed over centuries due to the slow decomposition of plants, so it's a really
2:24
potent thing. You'll most likely see it being sold in small jars and also in capsule form
2:28
Now the first thing to look at is how easy is it to actually find good quality of each. Now finding
2:33
good quality CMOS that's been prepared properly and safely can be a bit more of a hassle than it is
2:39
with Shilajit. I'll elaborate. When I was initially looking for Shilajit to make the video I made
2:43
I spent about a week researching how to find good quality Shilajit and what to look out for as a red
2:48
flag. And actually finding a good supplier online wasn't that hard. I was actually lucky enough that
2:53
I had a friend that had a supplier that he recommended to me, but if I didn't use him
2:56
I was totally ready to buy from a few of the sources I found online So finding good trilogy was not hard at all Now when it comes to finding good quality CMOS I found it and continue to find it a little bit more tricky I been taking CMOS for about two years now and over this time I bought from several places And the problem as mentioned in a previous video is that
3:14
CMOS overall isn't standardized. It's a folk medicine so you don't know actually what the
3:18
potency of a spoonful of CMOS could be. Different sellers have different practices and preparations
3:23
as well and then there's the problem of whether the CMOS has been honestly grown organically or
3:28
if it's just been pool grown which is a big no-no in terms of the effectiveness and the quality of
3:32
the product. Trust plays a massive part. This doesn't just apply to the gel form of CMOS either
3:38
when it comes to CMOS tablets or gummies which are quite popular as they're packaged and dried
3:43
products you don't know truthfully how long they've maybe been sat on a warehouse shelf for
3:47
Like I said trust plays its part here. You just have to be very cautious of the people who may be
3:51
more focused on making money off you rather than providing you with a good quality and honest
3:56
product so in terms of finding a good seller I actually found Shilogy easier to find and CMOS a
4:01
little trickier but you just have to be a bit more vigilant it might be worth mentioning as well I do
4:05
have a guide that gives you tips on what to look out for when it comes to actually buying CMOS and
4:09
this guide does have a recommended list of reputable sellers that I use myself so if you do need it
4:14
I'll put a link to that in the description below so which one is more effective when it comes to
4:18
the question of which one of the two is more effective I would say this Shilogy is good and
4:22
I did feel a difference from using it, but it tasted awful. I know you can get Shilajit in a capsule form, which does fix the problem of the taste, which
4:29
is great, but my preference is still CMOS. Why is that? I just well into the routine of taking CMOS I put a spoon or two in my morning smoothie every other day and I good I just feel like when I first tried CMOS the effects were more of a kick in the face than when I first tried Shilajit
4:44
Shilajit did work, but it was more of a slow build. And a slow build is more of a common thing
4:48
when it comes to natural remedies. Another thing I didn't like about Shilajit was the preparation was a bit of a hassle for me
4:54
I had to actually let it melt before I could actually scoop it out of the jar and use it in whatever drink I was using it in
4:59
So that was a bit of a hassle for me. That's why I think I would always prefer CMOS
5:03
over Shilajit. I do still buy CMOS in gel form, but if I come across the leaves at a reasonable
5:08
price and they tick all of the boxes, I'll just buy them and just make the gel myself
5:12
It's a really simple process. If you need to know how to make the gel yourself, I did make a video
5:16
detailing the process. If you need it, I'll put it in the description for you below also
5:20
So my conclusion is this, when it comes to the question of which one is better
5:24
the answer is that it really depends on you. I would encourage you, if you can, to try both for
5:28
one week have a break of three days in between and see how each one makes you
5:33
feel the reason I say that is because some people swear by Shirojit some
5:36
people swear by CMOS and some people even take both but if you're only gonna
5:40
take one then you have to fairly judge each one properly and see which one
5:44
suits your body better it would be impossible for me to tell you which one you're gonna prefer so have you tried either one and which one works better
5:51
for you let me know your thoughts in the comments below so with that being said thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next one
