I took NMN for 45 days for my video. The one I tested isn’t sold anymore, so this is where I’d start if you want to try it yourself. I haven’t tested these ones, but they all tick the boxes I’d look for: the NMN dose is clear on the label, and they state their purity or third-party testing.

ProHealth Longevity Essentials NMN Powder
The closest to what I used, because it’s a powder. You get 1,000 mg of NMN per scoop, and it’s third-party tested for purity and potency, which is what you want from something this pricey.

ProHealth Longevity Essentials NMN 500
Same brand in capsules, if you’d rather skip the powder. 500 mg per capsule and third-party tested for purity and potency.

California Gold Nutrition NMN Powder
Another powder, at 300 mg per scoop. It’s 98% pure NMN, made in a third-party audited facility, and the 30 g tub has enough scoops to cover the 45 days I’d give it.

California Gold Nutrition NMN 175 mg
A lower dose at 175 mg per capsule, also 98% pure. One of the cheaper ways to see how you get on with NMN before spending more.

Before you buy, here’s what I learned
- Don’t expect anything for the first two weeks. I nearly quit. My effects only started around week three.
- Give it at least 45 days before you decide whether it works for you.
- What I noticed was more energy in the gym and less soreness after heavy sessions. I didn’t see any anti-ageing effect.
- Watch out for overtraining. With more energy and less soreness, it’s easy to push harder than your body can handle.
- It isn’t cheap. Get your sleep, diet and training sorted first, because that’s where your money does more.
