I’ve been interested in the sea moss benefits for men for a while, but more specifically the proven benefits.

When we look at the benefits of sea moss for men, I think it’s good to start with whether there is any evidence that answers the question ‘does sea moss make you last longer in bed?’

I’ve been taking it for a few years now and it’s been great, my energy levels have improved, I felt it enhanced my mental focus, and a whole bunch of other things too. But what’s the evidence of the benefits of sea moss for men, and more specifically, issues of fertility?

In this blog post, I’ll be looking into the sea moss benefits for men. And answers to common questions like ‘Does sea moss help fertility’, ‘Is sea moss good for sperm’, does sea moss increase testosterone, and overall, what does sea moss do for men?

Does Sea Moss Increase Testosterone? – What Does the Research Say?

Does Sea Moss Increase Testosterone?

The benefits of sea moss for men are pretty well talked about. While sea moss has been used for centuries for its various health benefits, there is actually limited research on its effects on testosterone levels.

In the study I looked at, an experiment done on a group of rats, the rats that received the treatment of the sea moss (Chondrus crispus), their total testosterone hormone levels increased significantly by 22.6% compared to before the treatment.

The sea moss did have a positive effect on the rats in increasing the testosterone levels of the rats in the study. Still, you have to note that this study was conducted on animals, not humans, and more research is needed to determine an answer to the question of whether sea moss does indeed increase testosterone levels in humans.

So to answer the question of whether sea moss can give your testosterone a boost, the answer is technically yes, but it’s only been tested in rats. But this still hasn’t stopped many from taking it.

Is Sea Moss Good For Sperm?

Is Sea Moss Good For Sperm?

Sperm motility is one of the major factors in fertility. In order for the sperm to reach and fertilize the egg in a woman, the sperm need to move and swim through the woman’s cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes.

‘Is sea moss good for sperm?’ In the same study on rats, sperm motility increased by 36.6 and 35% respectively.

To reach and fertilize an egg, sperm must move — wriggling and swimming through a female cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes. This is known as motility. Pregnancy is possible with less than 40% of the sperm moving, but 40% is considered the threshold. The more the better.

Again, this study albeit encouraging was done on rats so do bear that in mind before you go running looking for sea moss.

I have heard numerous stories of people using sea moss to help them conceive. In some of the comments under my YouTube videos people have actually mentioned sea moss helping them to conceive. I also found this article by NBC about a couple that did the same.

So if you are in this position and wondering is sea moss good for sperm, it might not be a bad idea to try sea moss for yourself and see if it will help your sperm situation.

What Does Sea Moss Do For Men? – Does Sea Moss Make You Last Longer in Bed?

Does sea moss make you last longer in bed? It’s a pertinent question considering all of the other benefits of sea moss.

Now the thing with this question is that maybe you’re asking too much of it! Lasting long in bed could be due to a number of reasons that sea moss might not be able to fix.

I’ve personally heard numerous stories of men who swear by using sea moss gel for issues related to erectile dysfunction, mainly regarding achieving erections and just feeling generally more energetic in the bedroom and in the mood to have sex. But whether sea moss does anything for a man who has trouble lasting for a long time in the sack is another question.

Sadly, I couldn’t actually find any solid scientific evidence to support the idea that sea moss makes men last longer in bed.

I feel like many websites often overlook the question ‘Does sea moss make you last longer in bed?’ or they don’t focus on the issue because they assume most men are jumping for joy at the evidence that it can increase testosterone, give you more energy and may help you achieve erections more frequently.

If lasting long in bed is a problem for you, there are various things on the market to help you last longer in bed from meditation, toys, wipes and even numbing creams.

But I’m always going to recommend that if its a problem that has troubled you for some time, it’s always better to speak to a doctor who not only knows your medical history better than any webpage would, but he or she should be able to pinpoint the root cause of your problem a lot more efficiently.
